The CRANEMAX ropes are designed and manufactured to the very strict technical specifications demanded by our customers for today's challenging conditions. CRANEMAX offers a variety of ropes for the most common industrial applications and is divided into four key categories:
Each type is identified by few letters (XS, S, M, L, XL) corresponding to the level of load factor, followed by a number indicating the rope construction. The final letter identifies compacted strand ropes (K) or electric winch ropes (E). These codes can be used as a guideline for rope selection depending on desired application.

With decades of experience in wire rope manufacturing, Brunton Shaw UK have developed a range of high performance ropes which are designed to satisfy the technically demanding requirements of modern day cranes and winches.
Close co-operation with equipment manufactures and operators has led to the development of CRANEMAX compacted and non-compacted ropes which are currently operating successfully on a wide range of equipment around the world. Our ropes are currently in service in a variety of applications in the fields of building and construction, offshore, dredging, mining and energy among others.
As well as producing the standard range of CRANEMAX ropes shown on this website, Brunton Shaw UK are also able to offer 'tailor made' solutions to equipment manufacturers at design stage and can recommend the 'ideal rope' for any given operating situation.
